Which computers does Lexi run on?

Lexi runs on macOS and Windows. Use a recent version of either for the best experience.

How do I install Lexi?

Download Lexi for your computer from the download page. On macOS, drag it into Applications. On Windows, run the installer. Open Lexi, sign in and connect an app. Setup takes a few minutes.

How do I bring Lexi up?

Press your keyboard shortcut, or click the Lexi icon at the edge of your screen. You choose the shortcut in Settings.

Is Lexi always listening?

No. Lexi uses push-to-talk: it listens only while you hold your shortcut or the mic button. When you let go, it stops. You can also type any request.

Does Lexi watch my screen?

No. Lexi never watches your screen in the background. It uses only the context you choose to share, such as a window, a document or an email thread.

What does Lexi do with my information?

Lexi uses your information only to do the tasks you ask for. We never sell your data. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We work with a small number of trusted providers (hosting, email delivery and AI models) under strict data-protection agreements. The Privacy policy has the full details.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You decide what Lexi keeps. Delete individual memories and items, or delete your whole account, at any time. The Privacy policy explains how deletion works.

What does Lexi ask my approval for?

Anything consequential: sending email or invites, posting messages, sharing or deleting files, and anything that leaves your computer. Lexi shows exactly what it will do first.

Can I see what Lexi has done?

Yes. The activity log lists every action, with what Lexi did, when and where. Where an action can be undone, you will see Undo.

Which apps does Lexi work with?

Gmail and Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion and Zoom.

How do I connect or disconnect an app?

Go to Settings, then Apps. Select an app to connect it and choose its permissions. Select Disconnect to remove it. Revoked access takes effect immediately.

Why does a new app only have read access?

New connections start with read access only, so Lexi cannot change anything until you say so. You can add more permissions later.

What does Lexi remember?

Preferences you approve, such as how you like replies worded. Lexi keeps them in your account.

How do I view, edit or delete memory?

Go to Settings, then Memory. You can view, edit or delete anything, or turn memory off completely.

My shortcut does nothing. What should I do?

Another app may be using the same keys. Open Settings, then Shortcut, and choose a different combination. Make sure Lexi is running. On macOS, check that Lexi has the system permissions it asks for.

Lexi cannot hear me. What should I do?

Check that your microphone is plugged in and selected in your system sound settings. Confirm that Lexi is allowed to use the microphone in your system privacy settings on macOS or Windows. Hold the shortcut for the whole time you speak. If voice still fails, type your request.

How do I sign in or manage my account?

Open Lexi and select your account in Settings. From there you can sign out, change account details or delete your account.
